Conference Facilities Leasing

Basic Rules

All events must adhere to BPEX Operational Regulations

Use of the Conference Facilities are permitted only during the lease period. If you require rehearsal, set-up, or dismantling time for the event, please plan your lease period accordingly.

Access to the Conference Facilities are allowed 30 minutes before lease. Conference Facilities are opened only during the lease period.

  • If extra time is needed, please submit a request. Extra charges will apply.

As the BPEX is located inside the Busan Port International Passenger Terminal, which is a National Security Facility, events that last beyond 21:00 require pre-approval.

  • After 21:00, only designated elevators are available for use for exiting the building, set-up, and dismantling.

For smooth operations, please submit plans for equipment use and set-up (seats, stage layout, etc.) 7 days prior to the event

  • Extra charges will apply for any changes to set-up after preparation and layout have been completed.

Lease Procedure

The lease application must be submitted for a detailed quotation after the lease period, lease location, equipment use, and other details have been discussed with the person in charge.

Please contact BPEX for information about using other locations that are not discussed. There will be an additional charge, which must be paid in full before use.

Payment and Settlement

Use of the Conference Facility is only allowed after payment has been made in full 7 days prior to the event.
The contract must be followed.

Long-term series discount Long-term series discount are available for daytime(09:00~17:00) lease.
Per period 10-19 days 20-29 days 30 days or more
Discount rate 10% 20% 30%
Lease fee for extra time 10% of daytime (09:00~21:00) rate.
However, the lease fee for extra time may not exceed the 1 day full time lease fee.
Inappropriate room use an extra usage fee will apply for renting for exhibition purposes other than the designated use.
Notes
  • Cleaning, equipment, and the equipment use fees are not included.
  • For preparation, clean-ups, and rehearsals, a 40% discounted rental fee applies (after discounts/surcharges).
  • The info and registration desk area are available free of charge for approved events that use hallway space.
